On 30 May and the 1st and 7th of June, our partners on the German market organized on-farm forage days. During these days, the focus was on getting more protein from your grass land. The attendance was great and visitors were highly interested in learning new options for the improvement of their grass.
Barenbrug was present for discussion on grass mixtures and a demonstration of its grass concept NutriFibre. To show its potential for deep rooting, NutriFibre was presented in tubes. It was also presented on the field (in the available mixture “Greenstar Struktur”), to show the real deal in practise. Schaumann illustrated the importance of getting more protein from your own land and options for better silage quality. And last but not least, machines for grass land renewal and overseeding were demonstrated to the audience.
We thank Schaumann for organizing the “Grünlandtage”, enabling us to get in touch with the farmers in practise and discuss option with grass to fulfil their needs. The next edition is scheduled on the 23rd of August 2017, in Dorsten-Lembeck, Germany. We are looking forward to your visit!
