Baruzzo is a meadow brome grass who comes from the Barenbrug research station in Mas Grenier, France. The variety is in France listed but contains no French blood. Baruzzo is a brome grass who is suitable for grazing, that is pretty unique for brome grasses.

 

Multi purpose

Baruzzo is suitable for grazing but also for cutting. It has compared to other brome grasses a high energy level due to high sugar. It is suitable for colder climate zones due to the high frost tolerance which is an important characteristic for forage grasses.
