The stable producer

Briant is a tetraploid intermediate variety which is bred by the Dutch Barenbrug breeding station in Wolfheze. It is listed in The Netherlands and in France.

Good production

This variety shows a very stable production in all circumstances. It fits in all systems, grazing or cutting. On the French list, Briant is the best tetraploid yielding variety.

Rust resistant

Briant has a very good healthy variety with a high resistance against rust. Rust influences later in the season the palatability of the grass and it contains also some molds which can influence the fermentation.
