High yielding and winterhardy

Dorella is a high yielding hybrid ryegrass. This variety comes originally from Switzerland. Hybrid ryegrass is a cross between Italian and perennial ryegrass. Dorella was tested in Denmark from 2016 – 2018. Dorella had a 5% higher yield compared to a perennial ryegrass mixture in the first year. In the second year, it even gets better with 9% more yield. Overall in three years, Dorella shows 5% higher yield compared to a perennial ryegrass mixture. Overall Dorella is a persistent and winterhard variety
