Bardiva is a top variety for use in mixtures for golf greens and ornamental purposes. Major characteristic of Bardiva is its quick germination under colder conditions and superb winter survival. The variety has an excellent shoot density and a close mowing tolerance down to 5 mm. Also an high tolerance to heat and drought makes Bardiva one of the best varieties for your golf course or landscaping area!

Partner varieties in mixtures
Bardiva has been extensively tested in private trials at STRI UK and Hohenheim University in Germany and during several small trials in other countries. All trials showed the significant ornamental value of Bardiva and its great performance on golf greens.

Best combinations were found with Festuca rubra spps. such as Barcrown, Viktorka and Bargreen II. Other combinations are with Agrostis capillaris Barking and Heriot for greens or with dwarf perennial rye grasses as Bargold and Barsignum for fairways, tees or lawns.
