Eye opener! Unique perennial ryegrass supremely suitable to tolerate heat and drought
It has always been said that perennial ryegrass would not be suitable for hot summers. That is why the recovery capability of perennial ryegrass after the extreme summers of the last couple of years was an 'eye opener’ for many of us. Perennial ryegrass recovered first in many places. The disadvantage of normal perennial ryegrass is its clump forming tendency. This produces a barren surface dotted with clumps of green grass here and there, and the turf does not knit together nicely.
