Nr. 1 for yield

White clover is the only type of clover which can cope with intensive usage over many years. Beaumont brings the highest yield in addition to this. On the Swiss national recommended list for white clovers, Beaumont ranks at the first place for yield.

Persistency

Furthermore, Beaumont has a good note for winter hardiness. This helps the variety also in terms of persistency. Beaumont has the best score in Switzerland also for persistency. The variety therefore has the potential to enrich the sward with clover content for years and ad valuable protein to the harvested/grazed forage.

Resistance

Beaumont has amongst the best varieties for resistance to leaf diseases. Large leaved types of white clover in general are more susceptible than medium or small leaf types. Only, Beaumont performs well compared to other large leaf white clovers.
